Ducati specialists in Greenwich, south east London

Ray Petty Meccanica (RPM) is an independent Ducati workshop in Greenwich, run by Ray Petty. For 35 years Ray and his team have serviced, repaired and restored Ducatis for riders from across London and the UK, and many of them have been coming back for years.

We work on every Ducati, from the Panigale, Multistrada, Monster, Diavel and Streetfighter to the bevel twins and singles of the 1970s. Ducati is what we know best, and we also look after classic Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Laverda and Benelli motorcycles.

Every bike is checked from one end to the other. We call you to agree any work before it starts, and nothing leaves the workshop until Ray is happy with it.

Looked after as if it were Ray's own

Our customers keep coming back, year after year. You deal one to one with the people who work on your bike, and we talk you through what it needs before we do it.

Every bike that leaves the workshop carries Ray's reputation, so nothing goes out until he is 100 percent happy with it.

Meet Ray and the team

A workshop equipped for every Ducati

Our purpose-built workshop, near the O2 and Canary Wharf, has the latest Ducati diagnostic software and the tools we've built up over 35 years. That covers anything from a single upgrade to a full restoration.

We are the official London dealer for Rizoma and supply Brembo and other high-end Italian parts. Ray's rule: "I will only sell it if I would buy it for my own motorcycle, and I'm fussy."

Questions riders ask us

Are you a Ducati dealer?

No. Ray Petty Meccanica is an independent Ducati specialist. We don't sell new Ducatis: we service, repair, restore and upgrade them. We are the official London dealer for Rizoma parts and the only authorised DAViDA helmet retailer in London.

Do you only work on Ducatis?

Ducati is our specialism and most of what we do. We also service and restore classic Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Laverda and Benelli motorcycles. If you ride another Italian bike, call us and ask.

How often should my Ducati be serviced?

Most of our customers bring their Ducati in once a year. If you commute on it or ride a lot, twice a year is better. Valve clearance (Desmo) service intervals depend on the model, and we'll tell you when yours is due. More on Ducati servicing.
