Ray Petty Meccanica supplies and fits performance and custom parts for Ducatis at its workshop in Greenwich, London. We are the official London dealer for Rizoma, supply Brembo and other high-end Italian parts, and set every upgrade up so the bike still rides the way it should.

Manufacturers spend a fortune developing a motorcycle, so not every change makes it better. Some upgrades transform a bike; others just make it harsher, heavier or less safe. We'll tell you straight which is which before you spend anything.

Ray's rule for every part we sell: "I will only sell it if I would buy it for my own motorcycle, and I'm fussy."

Advice before parts

Changing just the bars and mirrors can change a bike's whole character. We'll tell you what an upgrade will actually do, and steer you away from changes that make the bike worse.

Every part is fitted with the right torque settings and set up for the way you ride, then road tested before the bike goes back to you.

Are you a Rizoma dealer?

Yes. Ray Petty Meccanica is the official London dealer for Rizoma, the Italian maker of high-end billet parts for motorcycles. We supply and fit Rizoma parts for Ducatis and other Italian bikes.

Do I need to tell my insurer about upgrades?

Usually, yes. Most UK insurers ask you to declare modifications, and an undeclared one can affect a claim. Check with your insurer before the work is done.

Can you fit upgrades during a service?

Yes, and it often saves labour to do both at once. Mention the upgrade when you book your service.
