Servicing, repairs and restoration for classic Guzzi twins, in Greenwich
Ray Petty Meccanica services, repairs and restores Moto Guzzi motorcycles at its workshop in Greenwich, London, especially the classic big twins: the Le Mans, V7 Sport, 750S, 850T and T3, California and SP. Ray has worked on Italian motorcycles for 35 years, and built the custom Moto Guzzi "Airtail" for Death Machines of London.
Moto Guzzi's transverse V-twin, with its shaft drive and cylinders sticking out into the breeze, is one of the great engines in motorcycling. It's tough and long-lived, but it rewards someone who knows it: carburettors balanced, valves and timing set, the shaft drive and gearbox looked after, and the linked brakes on the T3 and Le Mans set up properly.
Whether you ride yours every week or it's coming out of a long sleep, we'll keep it running the way it should.
“Ray took the time to answer 2 calls from me, one before buying a 1977 Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mk1 and the other after purchasing it. [...] FREE advice and turning away business are rare traits these days.”
Tell us the model, the year and what it needs, and we'll take it from there.
